Grape origin
Morcote, Ticino
Organically managed DOC Castello di Morcote vineyards, terraces with a slope of 30-35%, vines approx. 35 years old. Loose soil resting on rose porphiry, a volcanic quartzite peculiar to the promontory of Arbostora. Microclimate determined by the lake and its thermal winds. Altitude of 400 to 500 metres above sea level.
and
Mendrisiotto, Ticino
Organically managed vineyards; clay soils, typical of the region, with limestone presence. Vineyards on hilly terrain, altitude approx. 400 metres above sea level.
Vinification and ageing
The must is obtained partly from direct pressure on the grapes and partly by the saignée method. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Stored in vats for around six months before being bottled in Spring.
Tasting notes
Very pale pink color, Provencal style. On the nose it is very delicate and elegant with an enveloping scent of fresh flowers, accompanied by notes of white peach, lychee and tropical fruits. On the palate it surprises with its remarkable freshness, enhanced by floral and exotic notes.
